Energy efficient operation of underground watersource & water loop heat pump air conditioning systems
Chen Chao,Sun Fengling, Feng Lei and Wang Chendong
Analyses more than two years fieldtest data of the underground watersource & water loop heat pump air conditioning system applied to an apartment in Beijing based on the computative method of calculating the electricity consumption of publicused air conditioning driven equipment and terminal heat pump units by the authors. The results show that the secondary circulating pump system of the original system consumes a lot of energy and its control performance is poor under partial load. Puts forward a scheme of energy efficiency innovation by adding a frequency converter to the original constant flow secondary circulating pump. The reformation effect is notable and the rate of power saving is over 35%.
